The City of São Paulo in partnership with Abril Publishing sponsored Victor Civita Plaza – Open Museum for Sustainability. Located in a central urban area, at the site of a deactivated garbage incinerator, the project provides São Paulo with a new 130,000 square foot leisure destination and an innovative approach to the revitalization of contaminated urban areas. Conscious of the site´s degradation and pollution, the design proposes solutions that remediate the contamination through sustainable systems.
