Article 03, paisea 029. Narrative environments | Wayward Plants
Wayward Plants is a London-based landscape, architecture and art practice – an award-winning collective of designers, artists and urban growers. Our projects include the celebrated Union Street Urban Orchard (2010), a popup orchard commissioned by the Architecture Foundation which transformed a derelict site in Southwark into a thriving community garden – built from recycled materials by more than 100 volunteers. Following this project, Wayward Plants designed and produced the internationally critically-acclaimed “Urban Physic Garden” (2011), a pop-up community-built garden of medicinal plants which has since toured Asia and Europe with the British Council.
