Beijing City vision
Beijing Cityvision is the 6th annual international ideas competition launched by Cityvision, as a part of its 2014 annual program and research, called Evolution: the architecture of future mankind.
With a deep questioning about the city and its influence over the development of the human race, the new competition selected Beijing as a symbol of this important analysis of the human future. The projects will be submitted to the judgment of the jury composed by Sou Foujimoto, Greg Lynn, Sanford Kwinter, Eric de Broches De Combes and Ai Weiwei.
The launching of the competition will take place on March 6th 2014 during the upcoming Cityvision exhibition in Los Angeles. The Beijing ideas will be judged by an international jury which will have as president Ai Weiwei, is a Chinese contemporary artist, active in sculpture, installation, architecture, curating, photography, film, and social, political and cultural criticism and again Greg Lynn, Sou Fujimoto, Eric de Broches des Combes and Sanford Kwinter all of whom are distingueshed by the large experimentation willingness in their work.
